Hastinapur - Hastinapura was the capital of the kingdom
of the Kauravas, belonging to the Kuru dynasty of kings.
The throne of this city was the prize over which the Kurukshetra
War of the epic Mahabharata was fought. All incidents in
the epic Mahabharata have taken place in this city of Hastinapura.
The first reference to Hastinapur in Hindu mythology comes
as the capital of Emperor Bharata. (Distance - 47 KM)

Red Fort Delhi - The Delhi
Fort also known as Lal Qil'ah, or Lal Qila, meaning the Red
Fort, located in Delhi. The Red Fort and the city of Shahjahanabad
was constructed by the Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 A.D. The
layout of the Red Fort was organized to retain and integrate
this site with the Salimgarh Fort. The fortress palace is
an important focal point of the medieval city of Shahjahanabad.

known as the Lotus Temple, is a Bahá'í House

National Museum Delhi - The
largest museum of New Delhi, the National museum at Janpath,
offers a unique insight into the history and culture of India.
The three floors of the museum offer splendid and priceless
pieces of Indian art and sculpture that have been arranged

The famous sculpture of Dancing Girl from Mohenjodaro belonging
to 2,500 BC, the Moghul period paintings & Arabian manuscripts

Indira Gandhi Planetorium
Delhi - Located within the premises of Teen Murti House on
Teen Murti Road, Nehru Planetarium was established on 6th
February 1984 with the aim to promote space education and
astronomy among the common people especially the youth of
the region. The planetarium has a good sky theatre with the
capacity of seating 270 viewers at a time for screening taped
and live public shows on various cosmic topics like informing
about the cosmic heritage, the solar system or history of
a particular star. |

Raisina Hills Delhi - Raisina
Hill is a prime area in Edwin Lutyens' New Delhi, housing
India's most important government buildings. The Rashtrapati
Bhavan, India's Presidential palace, flanked by the Secretariat
building housing the Indian Prime Minister's Office and several
other important ministeries. Other important buildings and
structures situated near the Raisina Hill includes the Parliament
of India, the Rajpath, the Vijay Chowk and the India Gate. |
